Step 1:

The Year Of Equipping is one of the most important things we do here at Northpoint.
It begins with the Journey Guide, (Book 1 - for New Believers, or Growing Christians),
which will prepare you for the Spiritual Formation Weekend.
If you already have a mentor they will partner with you in this journey, if not, don't worry about it,
we will help connect you with one after the Spiritual Formation Weekend.

Step 2: Spiritual Formation Weekend
a. On Campus Fri and Sat
b. Share your life journey through the Journey Guide
c. Learn about and be scheduled for baptism
d. learn about church's history
e. Meet the pastoral staff and spouses
f. Be placed or confirmed as a cell group member
g. Be scheduled for the next retreat
h. Should be accompanied by their mentor

Step 3: Beginning the Journey Guidebook 5 weeks
a. Done in partnership with a mentor
b. 10 -15 Minutes per day
c. Get together once per week with mentor to discuss findings    
d. This will introduce you to kingdom living



Step 4: Encounter God Weekend

a. Held at hotel or conference center within an hour of home
b. Should be accompanied by your mentor
c. Learn how Satan uses strongholds to hold us back
d. A time of confession of sin between person and mentor

Step 5: The Arrival Kit Guidebook (11 weeks)
a..Examining worldly values for which you may struggle
b. Believers will be ready to begin to mentor someone else after this stage




Step 6:Share Guidebook (5 Weeks)
a. This covers mentoring and helping others find Christ and freedom from sin
b. A 5 Week study you do with your mentor




Step 7: Internship and Cell Group leader training
a. Basic requirements of a leader
1. A life free from habitual sin
2. A well developed prayer life
3. The earnest respect of cell members
4. Faithful involvement in training
5. A strong desire to share Christ's love with anyone that listens
6. A dogged determination to help fellow cell members reach their friends for Christ
b. If these basics are in their life they are then ready for "The cell leader training" taught over
 eight weeks or an intense weekend.
